Rose To Star In "The Frog Princess"
Beyonce has the Grammy. Jennifer has the Oscar. But it's Tony winner Anika Noni Rose who may be making Disney history, taking center stage as the movie studio's first black princess.
Rose will voice Maddy, the teenage heroine in the animated feature.
It has been confirmed that the actress/singer beat out the likes of Hudson, Alicia Keys and Tyra Banks, who all auditioned for the role. Tyra... in a musical? We digress.
