AMEN!!! (Blacks favored Imus firing over Whites in ABC Poll - You Think?)
McGuirk, who teamed with “Imus in the Morning Show” some twenty years ago, was unceremoniously dismissed Thursday by WFAN-AM for his role in the ugly incident involving the Rutgers Women's Basketball Team. The CBS affiliate pulled his boy Don off April 12, unleashing a crisp debate about race, diversity and how us Black folk unnecessarily debase our own women.
As producer and one of Imus’ frequent on-air foils, McGuirk provided much of the program’s low budget content, doing what the geriatric posse thought were the most amusing impressions of the late Cardinal John O’Connor, The Champ, Maya Angelou, and New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin. Source
