The newest addition to the Farmers Angel City Classic 5th Quarter Concert saluting Isaac Hayes is the incomparable Angie Stone. With concert producer extraordinaire Marc Brogdon of N2U Creative Marketing Group helming the event, Stone will be joined by other top A-List talent that are still under wraps. Angie Stone is a R&B, soul, and neo soul singer-songwriter, keyboardist, record producer, and occasional actress. Sistagirl was nominated for the 2008 Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for her duet with Betty Wright from the hit single "Baby."
The Classic, to be nationally televised on Fox Sports Net, will feature a McDonald's Battle of The Bands, Greek tailgate parties, Snoop Dogg's youth football playoff, a Band Clinic, as well as a King & Queen Competition for High School Seniors who will be given a $5,000.00 scholarship.
