Oprah Under Fire Again by Ex-Staffer
Oprah Winfrey might've thought she was done with a former employee who threatened to expose some secrets about "her style of management" -- after he was charged with extortion. Besides, she's too busy gearing up to campaign for Barack Obama to have to worry about some ex-staffer
Not quite. Page Six of the New York Post reports that the alleged extortionist, Keifer Bonvillain, was cleared of federal charges by an Illinois court, and now he's on the attack again, trying to get his supposed tell-all sold via the Internet.
Bonvillain allegedly tried to sell secret tapes of his time at Harpo Productions for $1.5 million, and was arrested. The ex-staffer has made allegations of discrimination at O's production company. Oprah didn't return the New York Post's calls for comment. Between this disgruntled employee, the molestation charges at her school in Africa and the tell-all book her father is threatening to publish, 2008 and the future seem to be a little rocky for Oprah.
