ARE BREAK-UP RUMORS ABOUT BLACK NBA SUPERSTAR KOBE BRYANT AND HIS GORGEOUS LATINA WIFE VANESSA TRUE?
Is This The Real Reason Why Kobe's Been Whining So Much Lately?
Looks like the Bryants may be calling it quits on future family trips to Disneyland.
Even Viacom-owned CBS News affiliate in Los Angeles is reporting that the couple are on the rocks. These whispers may be valid, as an alleged contact close to Kobe, 28, has stated that the Lakers basketball star is prepared to get a divorce.
Bryant was 22 years old when he dribbled off the court and into a wedding chapel with then 19-year-old Vanessa, who was still in high school when they started dating.
Marrying in 2001 against his family wishes allegedly because she was a Latina, the interracial pair have been married for 6 years now and have withstood their share of controversy.
An insider is now reporting that things may be beyond repair, "They've been trying [to make things better] now for more than a year, but it's just not working out ... Kobe's in the process of moving out [of their home] and both are ready to officially end things (MediaTakeOut.com)."
This break up will not likely be the filled with drama. Rather than make a drawn out public spectacle of their split, Kobe and Vanessa will likely come to a quiet settlement, ala Babyface and Tracey Edmonds. Like the Edmonds, Kobe and Vanessa have two children, both girls.
The source close to the couple has stated, "There's very little for [Kobe and Vanessa] to fight over. Since there was no pre-nuptial agreement [and California is a community property state], Vanessa's entitled to half the marital assets... Besides, Kobe stands to make a lot more money in the years to come - and that will be all his (MediaTakeOut.com)."
Kobe Bryant has had a very lucrative basketball career, to say the least, and is estimated to have earned nearly $200 million.
Over the next four seasons, the Lakers will be are committed to Kobe to the tune of $88.6 million. In addition to his lucrative salary, Kobe’s endorsement deals will continue to pay him nicely, like his $18 million still left with Nike.
As a rabid fan of the LA team as well as a husband and father, this is some sad crap to be blogging about. If this ish is true Kobe, brother man-up and work it out.
Everything is not about you. "I ain't happy with the Lakers," "I ain't sastified with my woman," I, I, I!
Your girl stood by you after humilating her with the whole "it was consensual sex" drama a few years back and you can't do whatever is in your power to keep your family together?
C'mon KB, you don't have to roll like that. Don't break up your family man. DON'T DO IT!!!
