Samuel L. Jackson and Josh Hartnett team up for "Resurrecting the Champ," scheduled for release nationwide on August 24. Hartnett stars as Erik, a sports reporter who lives in the shadow of his father's success. Erik rescues Champ, a homeless man portrayed by Jackson, and discovers that he is a boxing legend believed to be dead.The characters are complex, but believable and Jackson does an excellent job of transforming himself into the character of Champ, as does Harnet. We like this movie, go see it!
