Ice Cube Is Not Melting

In fact, as far as film production goes, Ice Cube is multiplying... or can we say,
multi-plexing.

Although he has not created very many critically lauded films, as far as box dollars go, O'Shea Jackson (aka Ice Cube) and his producing partner Matt Alvarez, with their company Cube Vision, are doing pretty darn well.

Cube Vision's latest production, "Are We Done Yet" starring the Ice man and the lovely Nia Long has grossed over $57 million worldwide. Not bad for a gangsta rapper-turned-actor, turned producer

Now Ice Cube has his eyes set on making the film version of the popular graphic novel "10."

The story is about a guy who gets what appears to be junk mail informing him he's in a competition with nine others and that whoever gets out alive wins. He throws away the letter, but then a man toting an ax shows up at the door. Cube will star as that guy.

But he's not stopping there.

Other Cube Vision projects in the works include a movie called "Tough Love" and the big screen adaptation of "Welcome Back, Kotter."

Oh God, might this be the return of Freddy Boom Boom Washington?! "Help! Mr. Kotteeeeer!!"
