OUR SISTAH IS SPEAKING AT THE BLOG-HER CONFERENCE IN CHICAGO: YOU GO GIRL!


I'M HEEEEERE!: BLOGGING IN THE SPIRIT OF VICTORY IN CHI-TOWN

O.K. All. I made it to Chi-town on the heels of the recent victory of BET's We Got to Do Better (formerly Hot Ghetto Mess) having no major sponsors of last night's show. Gina at What About Our Daughters - you are the bomb!

I was literally giving comments and responding to e-mail while finishing up my packing in preparing to go to the airport after just watching BET's shows S.O.B. and We Got to Do Better which were both a "hot ghetto mess". To see a comprehensive review of the show, visit Black America Web.com.

However, that's not what I really want to talk about. Gina, girl, I've got your back and will do what I can to assist with the Blogging While Brown conference scheduled for Atlanta in the summer of 2008. And anything I learn here at the BlogHer I will be happy to share. It seems they have a great model - well-organized and a solid program. Even Elizabeth Edwards is scheduled to speak on Saturday.

I want to reiterate my excitement about the BlogHer Conference. I am looking forward to learning so many great things by so many great women. You won't believe what it took for me to make it - but more on that at a later time.
