First, it was Eddie Murphy and Tracy Edmonds, then Diddy and Kim Porter, then Wayne Brady and his wife, then the illustrious L.A. Mayor Villaraigosa and his long-time bride and now television actors Duane Martin and Tisha Campbell are unfortunately rumored to be on the skids.
Gossip maven Wendy Williams is behind allegations that Campbell (Martin/My Wife and Kids) and Martin (All of Us), have separated and are getting ready to possibly divorce. The two would have been married for 11 years come August 17th. They have a 6 year-old autistic son named Xen. When it comes to separations and divorce, 'tis the season.
While we don't know Duane well, Tisha is one class act. We first met her after she wrapped "School Daze" back in the day.
Many folks don't know that Martin Lawrence's "You Go Girl!" actually came from actress A.J. Johnson, Tisha's personal trainer and close friend from those "House Party" days:
After Johnson and her then roommate started using the line back and forth, she decided to add it to the dialougue in the Reginald Hudlin pic. Well Lawrence, who also starred in the Black flick along with Kid N Play, had a little crush on Tisha.
He kept hearing Campbell and Johnson use the line, and decided to claim it after casting Tisha as his love interest in "Martin."
The rest, as they say in Hollywood, is history!
