HOW IS "YOUR BLACK MUSLIM BAKERY" LINKED TO ASSASINATION OF OAKLAND JOURNALIST CHAUNCEY BAILEY?
With 72 Murders In Oakland This Year, Bailey's Case Takes A Strange Twist
OAKLAND, Calif. -- Chauncey Bailey, who recently was promoted to be editor of the Oakland Post, was fatally shot in downtown Oakland just before 7:30 a.m. Thursday in what appears to be a targeted premediated hit.
IN BREAKING NEWS, police are confirming that several arrests have been made at "Your Black Muslim Bakery," and these arrests are connected to the homicide investigation in this case as well as others in the Oakland area.
Law enforcement are also acknowledging another critical link, stating that they have found the weapon allegedly used to commit the homicide.
Mainstream media outlets such as Fox News have already begun suggesting that the Black-owned entity is a violent cult. More than just a restuarant, the Oakland landmark owns a school, apartment complex, and security company.
Whether this turns out to be the case remains to be seen. Reports are that Bailey was working on a story about potential financial impropieties and pending bankruptcy involving Your Black Muslim.
Holmgren said the 57-year-old journalist was shot multiple times in the 250 block of 14th Street near Alice Street, which is near a large post office on 13th Street and a McDonald's restaurant at 14th and Jackson streets. He lived about 12 blocks away from the paper's offices and typically walked to worked.

Publisher of the Oakland Post, Paul Cobb, said both he and Bailey had received many threats over time but police have asked him not to comment in detail, the Tribune reported.
