WAR IN IRAQ: GOOD NEWS AS 125 TROOPS RETURN HOME TO CALIFORNIA TODAY

Port of San Diego California is the scene of a tearful homecoming for 125 U.S. soldiers as their ship landed early this morning. These troops, part of the 3rd Regiment, 160th Battalion of the California National Guard have been away from home for 18 months. A long time by anyones clock, but for these families and friends, what must have seemed like an eternity. Hugs, kisses and tears abounded as many soldiers were united with children born while they were away in Iraq.
