Smooth R&B artist Tank was tased and arrested outside the House of Blues in New Orleans early morning on February 18 on several charges including disorderly conduct.
The "Please Don't Go" singer, however, is claiming this is yet another case of Cops Gone Wild!
However, Tank claims he was a victim of police brutality. Joined by Ira Dewitt, the CEO of Notifi Music Group, the two were headed for a NBA All-Star Weekend Afterparty at the House of Blues. They began walking into the direction of the club but were blocked from doing so by police, apparently because there had been a shooting in the area.
Words were exchanged with the cops and next thing you know, Tank was being tased, arrested and booked."The singer was coming off his first two Grammy nominations -- for Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B album for Sex, Love & Pain.
