Luciano Pavarotti And James Brown Are Both In Heaven Now Singing "This Is A Man's World"

Italian Soul Brother Luciano Pavarotti Is Dead at 71

Pavarotti, who underwent surgery in New York for pancreatic cancer in 2006, passed away at his home in Modena, Italy today. We will miss this incredible talent!

What, Black folks can't be into opera???

The bearded Italian tenor, who sold more than 100 million records, had a clarion lyric voice that made him a pop icon and the most famous opera singer since Enrico Caruso.

King of tenors from the late 1960s through the 1990s, Pavarotti was the original overweight lover. He popularized opera more than any other singer through recordings that made him the best-selling classical artist ever, consistently selling out concerts in parks and stadiums around the world.

You have been promoted Mr. Pavarotti. Job well done!
