YEAH, I SAID IT! RAY J'S POLITICAL ASPIRATIONS ARE EMBARRASSING

RAY J is hoping the people of his native Carson, California will forget about his recent sex tape controversy and elect him the town's next mayor.

I'm from Carson folks. That s*** ain't gonna happen!

Yeah, that's right I said it.

Known primarily as singer Brandy's little brother, this kid isn't even taken seriously as an entertainer.

Why would the non-CD selling, non-acting young buck think savvy, middle class Blacks folks would want him as their go-to person for creating economic development, making their neighborhoods safer, or improving the local schools?

While this young blood may have huge political ambitions, his recently leaked sex tape with socialite Kim Kardashian, and his new title as spokesperson for Trojan condoms, suggests a better career move might be in the porn industry.

Ray J realizes that his exploits of late have wrecked his bid to become Carson's mayor this year (07) - but he isn't giving up. He tells Sister 2 Sister magazine, "I might do it at the next election and let all of this controversy die down and then hit them harder.

That's four years from now Mr. Norwood -- what are you going to do in the meantime, pose for "Playgirl" or "Black Inches?"

"I want people to look at other things besides rapping and singing... That's why I didn't run for mayor this year... I think I can still win.

Yeah, and your girl Whitney Houston wasn't hooked on crack, black man!

"I've been through the ups and downs in Carson. They need somebody young, not only to make a statement and win all eyes from all over the world... I can bring all of the youth into being inspired to do something different in life." Ray J says, in between calls from the unemployment office.

And Carson will only be the first stop: "Young people 18 and older don't vote. When I get people to start voting and start uplifting themselves in the political side of life... I'm making a change in the world. "I'm going to keep going. I'm going for president of the United States of America."

See Barack, this is all your fault. Now every Black man thinks he can be president!
