“Grey's Anatomy” star Isaiah Washington, making amends for his use of the word "faggot", cautions in a public service announcement that “words have power” to hurt or heal.
Washington’s taped message resulted after he met in January with officials from various gay and lesbian organizations.
The gifted, versatile actor provoked a "OH NO YOU DIDN'T!" by using the anti-gay epithet backstage at the Golden Globe Awards in January while denying he’d used it previously against cast mate T.R. Knight. Looks like this controversy may have cost the brotha his gig.
