SAME OLD THANG, RAPPER "THE GAME" WITH GUN AND THREATS

Rapper The Game has been charged with making a criminal threat and with possession of a firearm in a school zone during a Feb. 24 pickup basketball game.

The brother, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, allegedly got into an altercation with a player on an opposing team at the Rita Walters Educational Learning Complex in South Los Angeles.

(FYI - Walters was an African-American school board member who went on to serve in the City Council representing South Los Angeles)

After allegedly punching the victim, cops say The Game, 27, pulled a gun from his red Escalade and threatened to "pop the victim." (Pop a cap in his a** was probably more like it)

Taylor is also charged with one count of exhibiting a firearm in the presence of an officer. (What was he doing showing off his Guns of Navarone collection?) He was scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday for the three felonies.

The arraignment will likely be continued, however, due to the hard-working Black man currently tied-up on a project. Because all defendants must appear in person on felonies (only attorneys need to appear on misdemeanors), the continuance was absolutely necessary.

If convicted, The Game is looking at more than five years in state prison.
