Vivica A Fox arrested in Los Angeles Tuesday night on suspicion of DUI.
Cops pulled her over on the 101 Freeway in the San Fernando Valley for speeding. After failing a series of field sobriety test, Fox was taken to jail where she submitted to two breathalyzer tests, which were over the legal driving limit.
Vivica was booked and released later that night. She'll likely face charges for her impaired driving and exceeding the .08 legal limit. Because these charges are misdemeanors, don't expect her to show up to court. By law, she doesn't have to.
Can her BFF Star Jones practice law in California? If so, she may try to get the charges reduced to what's called a wet reckless, which is not as serious. Otherwise it's a trial or a no contest plea that would result in informal probation for 3 years, fines around two grand, a suspended driver's license, and completion of a DUI alcohol program. Additional jail unlikely - she'll get credit for time served.
