Rosario Dawson is going digital, producing and starring in "The Gemini Division," a live-action/motion-capture animation online sci-fi series.
The 28-year-old biracial actress/singer will play a New York cop whose investigation of the bizarre murder of her husband leads to the discovery of some global conspiracy blah, blah blah.
We're feeling her vibe and that's all that matters, right?
She partnered on the project with Electric Farm Entertainment. They will produce 100 three-minute episodes of "Gemini." Dawson also is attached to star in and produce potential TV series, feature film and game versions of "Gemini."
Creator of the comic book "Occult Crimes Taskforce", Dawson is developing a feature based on it with the Weinstein Co., to which she is attached to star and produce.
Currently she can be seen with September Playgirl cover man Marcus Patrick onscreen in "Descent," the first film produced under her production banner, Trybe Films.Reuters/Hollywood Reporter
