Man Caught Cheating On His Wife Has A Mouthful To Say!

DAMN FINE EXPLANATION

A wife comes home early to find her husband in their bedroom making love to a very attractive young woman.

Yes, she was somewhat upset. 'You are a disrespectful pig!' she cried. 'How dare you do this to me -- a faithful wife, the mother of your children! I'm leaving you. I want a divorce right away!'

And the husband replied, 'Hang on just a minute love so at least I can tell you what happened.'

'Fine, go ahead,' she sobbed,' but they'll be the last words you'll say to me!'

And the husband began -- 'Well, I was getting into the
car to drive home, and this young lady here asked me for a lift. She looked so down and out and defenseless that I took pity on her and let her into the car..

I noticed that she was very thin, not well dressed and very dirty. She told me that she hadn't eaten for three days.

So, in my compassion, I brought her home and warmed up the enchiladas I made for you last night, the ones you wouldn't eat because you're afraid you'll put on weight. The poor thing devoured them in moments.

Since she needed a good clean-up, I suggested a shower, and while she was doing that, I noticed her clothes were dirty and full of holes, so I threw them away.

Then, as she needed clothes, I gave her the designer jeans that you have had for a few years, but
don't wear because you say they are too tight.

I also gave her the underwear that was your anniversary present, which you don't wear because I don't have good taste.

I found the sexy blouse my sister gave you for Christmas that you don't wear just to annoy her, and I also donated those boots you bought at the expensive boutique and don't wear because someone at work has a pair the same.'

The husband took a quick breath and continued - 'She was so grateful for my understanding and help that as I walked her to the door, she turned to me with tears in her eyes and said,

'Please ... Do you have anything else that your wife doesn't use?

BREAKING NEWS: Louisiana Judge Keith Bardwell Resigns!

White Justice Quits After Interracial Marriage Controversy

A Louisiana justice of the peace who refused to marry a couple because the bride was white and groom was black has given up his post.

Here's Keith Bardwell's one-sentence statement to Louisiana Secretary of State Jay Dardenne: "I do hereby resign the office of Justice of the Peace for the Eighth Ward of Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, effective November 3, 2009."

Bardwell refused to perform the ceremony for Beth Humphrey and Terence McKay because they are of different races.

When questioned about his refusal, Bardwell acknowledged he routinely recuses himself from marrying interracial couples because he believes such marriages cause harm to the couples' children. In interviews, he said he refers such couples to other justices of the peace, who then perform the ceremony, which happened in this case.

Humphrey has said she and McKay received their marriage license from the parish clerk of court, where they also received a list of people qualified to perform the ceremony. When she called Bardwell's office to ask about the ceremony on Oct. 6, Humphrey said Bardwell's wife told her that the justice wouldn't sign their marriage license because they were a "mixed couple."

Humphrey and McKay have filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against Bardwell.

Former supermodel and current TV personality Tyra Banks was recently spotted at a restaurant in Los Angeles (Little Next Door), which isn’t all that interesting. However, who she was spotted with was: her elusive, yet longtime boyfriend John Utendahl.

Given how Tyra recently packed up her bags and moved her and her two shows – The Tyra Banks Show & America’s Next Top Model – to New York, there may be some fire behind all this smoke.

And just who is this guy? John Utendahl is the founder and owner of Utendahl Group, the largest African American-owned investment banking group in the United States . Mr. Utendahl is considered to be one of the most successful African Americans on Wall Street. Mr. Utendahl was born in the borough of Queens in New York City. Jay Z & Beyonce Jump The Broom!

TIME FOR THE BABY WATCH???

Black Hollywood royalty Jay-Z and singer-actress Beyonce Knowles married Friday in New York, People magazine reported on its Web site, citing an unidentified friend of the couple.

The 37-year-old hip-hop mogul and the 26-year-old singer-actress have been having tongues wagging ever since there were news links indicating the couple had applied for a marriage license over the last few days in Scarsdale Village, New York.

A parade of sport utility vehicles with tinted windows was seen coming and going from the garage late in the afternoon, one of them carrying two people dressed in chef's uniforms carrying large, square, white boxes on their laps. And men dressed in tuxedos were spotted on the roof of the building, where a white tent was erected.

Representatives for the couple were unavailable to confirm the report, which added that the ceremony was followed by a party at the rapper's TriBeCa apartment. Guests included Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles, her father and manager Mathew, her sister Solange, Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and friend Gwyneth Paltrow, it said.

The report followed widespread speculation that drew swarms of media to the street outside Jay-Z's penthouse Friday.

The matrimonial union between Joe Camel and the beauty, who have been dating since 2002,would mark one of the highest-profile celebrity unions in recent years. They have performed together several times, including music videos for two of her hit singles, "Crazy in Love" and "Deja Vu."

Beyonce rose to fame as a member of the glittery R&B act Destiny's Child but emerged as a superstar in her own right with her big-screen turn as Foxxy Cleopatra in the 2002 film comedy "Austin Powers in Goldmember." The following year Beyonce scored a hit with her debut solo album, "Dangerously in Love," collecting five Grammys along the way.

The Houston native earned a Golden Globe nomination in 2006 for her role as a Diana Ross-like character in "Dreamgirls," a big-screen adaptation of the Broadway hit musical.

Her marriage to Jay-Z comes as the hip-hop artist and record executive is in talks with concert promoter Live Nation for a deal reported to be worth about $150 million, rivaling the biggest music contracts ever.

The onetime street hustler from Brooklyn ran the landmark rap label Def Jam Records as president for several years, but stepped down from that post in December. [Washington Post]

LIES AT THE ALTER... SISTERS LISTEN UP!

You would think that all you need is love, decency and common sense for two people to make it through life together. But that does not seem to be the case. Dr. Robin L. Smith's new book, "Lies at the Altar: The Truth About Great Marriages" encompasses the problem by revealing most of us go into marriage with many unspoken needs, unasked questions, fairy-tale assumptions and other hidden agendas that later manifest themselves in power struggles...

Perhaps most compelling, Lies at the Altar is about making an investment in yourself by not letting lies dominate your life. It is important to stand at the altar of truth and commit to plain and simple honesty. You will get the real you back as you leave shame and blame behind. It is a prudent investment that allows you to make wise decisions about how to spend your emotional, spiritual, financial and physical wealth. More of this review at COMPARE BOOK

With Spitzer's Hooker Gate And The McGreevey's Alleged Gay Threesomes, David Paterson's Run Of The Mill Affair Seems So... 90's!

Another Governor, Another Sex Scandal???

The thunderous applause was still ringing in his ears when the state's new governor, David Paterson, told the Daily News that he and his wife had extramarital affairs.

In a stunning revelation, both Paterson, 53, and his wife, Michelle, 46, acknowledged in a joint interview they each had intimate relationships with others during a rocky period in their marriage several years ago.

In the course of several interviews in the past few days, Paterson said he maintained a relationship for two or three years with "a woman other than my wife," beginning in 1999.

As part of that relationship, Paterson said, he and the other woman sometimes stayed at an upper West Side hotel — the Days Inn at Broadway and W. 94th St.

He said members of his Albany legislative staff often used the same hotel when they visit the city.

"This was a marriage that appeared to be going sour at one point," Paterson conceded in his first interview Saturday. "But I went to counseling and we decided we wanted to make it work. Michelle is well aware of what went on."

In a second interview with Paterson and his wife Monday, only hours after he was sworn in to replace scandal-scarred Eliot Spitzer, Michelle Paterson confirmed her husband's account.

"Like most marriages, you go through certain difficult periods," Michelle Paterson said. "What's important is for your kids to see you worked them out."

The First Couple agreed to speak publicly about the difficulties in their marriage in response to a variety of rumors about Paterson's personal life that have been circulating in Albany and among the press corps in recent days.

They spoke in the governor's office even as scores of friends, family members and political supporters were celebrating in the corridors of the Capitol his ascension to the state's highest post.

Given the call-girl scandal that erupted last week and forced Spitzer's stunning resignation, Paterson conceded that top government officials are bound to come under closer scrutiny for their personal actions.

The governor flatly denied what he called a "sporadic rumor in Albany that I had a love child" by another woman. "That's just not true," he said. "Don't you think he'd take care of a child if he'd had one?" Michelle Paterson said, in obvious disgust over that persistent rumor.

The romantic relationship he did have, Paterson said, lasted until sometime in 2001. He did not identify the former girlfriend. Asked if he had stayed with anyone else since 2001 at the same West Side hotel, Paterson said, "From time to time I used to take Michelle to that hotel."

Wait! The story continues>>>

Black 70's Actress Sheila Frazier Holds Out For Love, And Finally Gets Her Superfly!

Mr. John Atchison, hair stylist to the stars who was seeing clients in Los Angeles, charmed her with his bright smile and formal Southern manners. I thought he was gorgeous, Ms. Frazier said.

But Sheila Frazier of "Superfly" fame was not a typical Hollywood star. When Mr. Atchison, put down the curling iron and leaned in to chat, she pulled out a small Bible that she always carries with her.

The next thing you know we're talking about Scripture, remembered Mr. Atchison, 67, sounding both amused and inspired. People didn't believe it, he said. Sheila Frazier's in your hotel room for a haircut, and you're saying you're just reading the Bible?

Ms. Frazier, now 59, said she was looking for a spiritual connection, not a romantic one. A recently divorced mother of a 3-year-old, I was trying to pick up the pieces, she recalled. Her priorities were taking care of my son and finding work.

Mr. Atchison admired her fortitude and especially her faith, since he was in the process of rediscovering his own.

He had transformed himself from being a subway token clerk, redesigning women's hairdos in his head, to a top stylist at Vidal Sassoon in Manhattan in less than two years. And it was only another four years before he opened his own Manhattan salon in 1976, attracting clients like Dionne Warwick, Cicely Tyson and Bill and Camille Cosby. But along the way Mr. Atchison's first marriage unraveled, and he became discomforted by the superficiality of his growing fame.

So he tried joining the EST movement (it was the 70s). Then he tried meditation. I went to some session upstate where they were chanting and carrying on, he recalled. Yet he inadvertently found the solace he was seeking while at a church service with his daughter at an A.M.E. church in Jamaica, Queens, which he began attending regularly.

But his friends in New York City were not churchgoers. They thought it was a phase I was going through, he said. So he looked forward to spending time with Ms. Frazier when in 1980 he opened a second salon, in Los Angeles, where he had occasionally operated from hotel rooms and client's homes.

His feelings for her soon deepened, which he repeatedly told her. But she didn't believe him. In Hollywood everyone says they love you, she said. It's like saying good morning.

He might have been more convincing had he not been dating other women.

Mr. Atchison was living a bifurcated life: devout in California but frequenting Studio 54 back East. His partygoing with models was only to promote his salons, he said.

Despite having developed strong feelings for him, Ms. Frazier had her doubts. I've always been taught to listen less to what a person says and watch more what they do, she said.

In 1993, when a man Ms. Frazier had been dating on and off for nine years proposed marriage, she accepted. John could have scooped me up and taken me away from the guy, she said, describing what she had hoped would happen. Instead he withdrew.

Her engagement was called off after nine months, but Mr. Atchison kept his distance for several years.

Ms. Frazier focused on her career, which has included television shows from The Love Boat to The West Wing. By 1990 she was also producing a talk show in Los Angeles for Black Entertainment Television, for which she eventually became the director of network talent, booking celebrity guests and training new hosts, work that she continues to do as a consultant.

Meanwhile, Mr. Atchison enrolled in correspondence courses to become an evangelical minister and started offering Bible study classes to stylists and clients at his salon. Since Ms. Frazier also led a Bible study group, it gave him an excuse to re-establish contact and compare notes.

Then last February, unable to fall asleep one night, I poured my heart out to God about the kind of woman that I want, he said, and recalled that he heard a voice respond: God said, Sheila. She's the one.

It was 4:30 in the morning, but he picked up the phone and called her. I asked "May I have permission to date you?" he said.

Cards and flowers followed, as did late-night phone calls exploring liturgy and love. I was no longer straddling the fence, he said. He invited her to New York for Easter and included an after-hours candlelight dinner at his salon, providing a cappella musical accompaniment with a song he had rehearsed for the occasion, I'm Glad There Is You.

She had been uncertain for so long about the depth of his feelings. But no longer. Consistency is what gets me, she said before the wedding. No one holds me like John does. Although we are celibate, I love his kisses.

On Feb. 2, gentle R&B music pulsed through the barrel-vaulted sanctuary at the Crenshaw Christian Center East in Manhattan, as Mr. Atchison and the couple's 160 guests waited for the bride's arrival.

Looking svelte and serene, Ms. Frazier floated down the aisle in her strapless champagne-colored gown, gathering calla lilies and blessings from her nine bridal attendants.

Billy Brown, from the musical group Ray, Goodman & Brown, performed a song for the couple, and the Rev. Terry Starks, an evangelical minister, led them in their vows as they beamed at each other.

But it was not until the reception that Mr. Atchison could fully express his joy by serenading his new wife. I'm glad there is you, he crooned. She swayed and snapped her fingers as she had done in his salon. Then they moved together and melted into each other as the music played on.

Bishop Thomas Weeks Needs Jesus To Take The Wheel... NOW!!!

I am absolutely convinced that Bishop Thomas Weeks is determined to run his entire empire into the ground. Weeks, who allegedly beat his wife, televangelist Juanita Bynum, last summer in an Atlanta hotel parking lot, has written a book, "What Love Taught Me," about his prophetess. How stupid can this man of God Be???

Last Monday, Weeks appeared on the Tom Joyner show to announce the book; however, 48 hours later Weeks decided not to distribute it until "many years from now." Why would anyone attend worship services where Weeks was providing spiritual guidance??? Thank goodness he came to his senses, and apologized for writing the book and other things in an online video. Check out the video at http://whatlovetaughtme.com/.

Forget Green, Tennessee Politico Harold Ford Jr. Goes Blond... To The Altar That Is!

Ford Next Election May Be For Governor in 2010, But Jumping The Broom Likely To Occur Spring 08

Former Tennessee Congressman Harold Ford Jr. actually ended his long run as Washington's most eligible bachelor began three years ago at a wedding in New Orleans. A fellow guest, Debbie Beard, remembers running into the handsome light-skinned lawyer whom she had met once before. He pointed to the table where he would be sitting. "I told him, 'My daughter is seated there,' and he said, 'I'll find her,' " Beard told us yesterday. "I guess he did."

Last week, Ford, 37, proposed to Beard's daughter, Emily Threlkeld, 26, over dinner at the Ritz-Carlton in Paris, where she was on a business trip. Threlkeld, a business manager for designer Carolina Herrera in N.Y.C., said yes. "She's a great young lady and will make a great wife," Ford told us yesterday. "I hope I'll make an equally great husband."

Current chairman of the Democratic Leadership Council and a political contributor for Fox News, Ford lost a close '06 Senate race after being slammed by racially tinged ads showing him as one of those playboy type brothers. Ironically, at the time he was already getting serious with the White University of Miami grad, although homegirl stayed largely out of view during the race. Now we'll let you speculate as to why. Paula White Is Handling Her Split From Her Husband And Pastor Well, But Juanita Bynum Needs A New Media Strategy

The Pastor Randy And Paula White Divorce: Lessons From The Pulpit

What sometimes seems like a case of the dueling divorcing female evangelists, last week it was Paula White's turn to appear on TBN since the announcement of her divorce. Like Prophetess Juanita Bynum - who also calls Bishop T.D. Jakes a mentor - TBN was the first stop for White after the very public announcement of her divorce from Randy White with whom she served as co-pastor of their Without Walls International Church in Tampa, Florida.

For me, if Juanita Bynum "hit it out of the park" with her appearance on TBN, Paula White "hit the game-winning home run" with hers. She was amazing!

Interviewed by contemporary Christian music artist, Carman, White sat poised and humbled as she communicated the power of her spiritual life which she credited with keeping her strong during this very challenging time for rarely is the loss of a marriage ever easy.

Upon first coming on to the program, Carman referred to her as a life coach as well as a minister of the gospel. I found the usage of this secular characterization interesting, yet powerful. I enjoy seeing people evolve in their gifts. White's powerful preaching and teaching cannot be denied.

What I also found interesting was...
