David Blaine Sets Indurance Title, Don't Hold Your Breath

David Blaine set a new world record for breath holding on today's "OPRAH WINFREY Show."

During the live broadcast, the endurance artist was submerged in a water-filled sphere, where he managed to hold his breath for an astonishing 17 minutes and four seconds. The previous record was 16 minutes and 32 seconds.

Blaine has previously been buried alive in a coffin for a week, lived in water for more than seven days and fasted for 44 days while suspended in a box over the Thames river.

17 minutes holding your breath.. Big Deal! With twins at home, I call that a tantrum!
