When I read all the recent articles on enhancing a woman's sexual desire I'm really confused about the medicine cabinet of cures. The one thing all the surveys do agree... is that men's Viagra will increase my orgasms and well, that's a good start.

It doesn't cure the big problem need, that being need, want, desire; just getting me interested in having sex in the first place. Sexually dysfunctional women in the United States are, well, mostly out of luck.

Unlike men, there are no approved drugs to take. If you go strictly by the rules, the best medical science has to offer is counseling, or a device that applies suction to your clitoris, or physical therapy for your vagina. While not to diminish these choices, where's that convenient, little blue pill for women?

That's what Joanne wanted to know. This isn't her real name, but she's a 26-year-old nurse at the Cleveland Clinic who felt no sex drive -- nothing, nada, zilch -- for eight years. She wasn't happy, and neither was her boyfriend

In the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, Viagra was proven helpful for men who suffered from erectile dysfunction associated with the use of antidepressant medications.

In a current study, undertaken at seven research centers, they turned their attention to women. The study included 98 women -- half of whom received Viagra and half who received a placebo -- who were told to take the pills before sexual activity.

Women taking Viagra reported an improved ability to reach orgasm and increased orgasm satisfaction, according to the study authors. (Serena Gordon HealthDay Reporter)

THE R KELLY JURY DID WHAT???

Robert Kelly is one happy camper right about now, thanks to a Cook County jury who just acquitted the R&B pied-piper of child pornography charges. This marks the end of a high-profile trial chocked full of courtroom drama.

The 41-year-old superstar long denied charges that he videotaped himself engaging in a variety of sex acts with his then-underage goddaughter.

Authorities said the female in the video could have been as young as 13 at the time. The jury of nine men and three women deliberated for 7 ½ hours before finding Kelly not guilty on all 14 counts.

"R Kelly was found not guilty because they had the best jury that Cook County could produce," said Kelly's attorney Sam Adam Jr. "Two things happened today. R. Kelly got his name back and [his goddaughter] never had to lose hers," Adam said.

Prosecutors struck a somber note about a case that's lasted more than six years, using their statements to thank witnesses, profess faith in their case and acknowledge they had an uphill fight to prove it.

"As we must, we accept the verdict of the jury in this case," said Cook County State's Atty Richard Devine. "This prosecution is one we have no reservations about."

Shauna Boliker, the lead prosecutor in the case, reserved her comments to thanking witnesses who came forward. "It was a difficult thing for them to do, but they did it very eloquently and courageously," she said.

In the moments before the verdict was announced, Kelly could be seen praying in the courtroom. As the verdicts rolled in, each count not guilty, Adam said he heard Kelly saying, "Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus."

Kelly left the courtroom surrounded by his entourage, who kept reporters away from the singer and escorted him to a waiting sport-utility vehicle as some 50 supporters shouted support to him.

Though Kelly did not speak to reporters, he did salute and wave to fans.

Allan Mayer, a Kelly spokesman, said, "Robert has asked me to speak on his behalf for now. Robert has said all along that he believes in our system, and he believes in God. And that when all the facts came out in court, he'd be cleared of these terrible charges.

"He did not expect that it would take 6 ½ years. It's been a terrible ordeal for him and his family, and at this point all he wants to do is move forward and try to put it behind him. He wants to thank his lawyers who defended him so brilliantly. He wants to thank his fans who stuck by him and supported him with such love.

"Most of all, he wants to thank God for giving him the strength to get through this. He's going to have more to say about all of this very soon. But for right now, he'd be more inclined to be with his family, collect himself and get strong again. But we'll be hearing from him soon about all of this.

"Again, he thanks everyone for their support, and he thanks our system of justice for seeing him through. And he thanks God for his strength and his love."

In The R Kelly Trial, Star Witness Lisa Van Allen Blows The Lid Off Child Molestation In The Black Community

Child molestation and sex addiction. These issues are just as prevalent in the Black community as it is anywhere. The only difference is we tend to sweep it under the rug. There are women who have bore children from the rapes that they endured at the hands of some older relative and men who have been sexually abused who then perpetuate the abuse on others.

If these allegations are true, these young woman will forever be scarred by these perverted acts, despite how "normal" they appear to be. While some feel Lisa Van Allen and the victim are just as culpable, the fact is R Kelly was the adult, and not only seemingly reveled in these disturbing acts, but continued to perpetuate them. Star witness Lisa Van Allen is currently testifying about the three-way sessions she had with the Urinator and the under-age hussy at the heart of this case. It may be a tad long - but it’s a very juicy read:

“Van Allen said she had met R. Kelly at the video shoot for ‘Home Alone,’ in which she appeared, in late 1997 or early 1998. She talked with Kelly and ended up having ‘intercourse’ with him in the trailer, she said. She was 17 at the time, she said.

The pair exchanged numbers and Van Allen soon visited Kelly in Chicago, eventually giving up her job in Atlanta to be with him full time. Kelly paid for her to stay in hotels and she spent most of her time with him at the studio, she said.

In late 1998, she testified, Kelly took her to his former home on the North Side of Chicago, where she met the alleged victim in this case for the first time. Kelly taped them while they had three-way sex in his ‘log-cabin’ room, she said. That’s the same room he’s alleged to have filmed the tape in this case. Kelly told her the alleged victim was 16, she said.

On another occasion, following an awards ceremony in Chicago at which Kelly had been honored, Van Allen, Kelly and the alleged victim in this case again had videotaped three-way sex. But this time they did it on Kelly’s basketball court.

‘He took up his camera and we took off our clothes and we all had sex again,’ she said. Van Allen said Kelly stopped the sex session after she broke down crying. “I didn’t want to do it,” she said.

On a third occasion, sometime in 2000, Kelly, Van Allen and the alleged victim romped again, this time in his trailer at the video shoot for ‘Woman’s Threat,’ Van Allen said. Kelly and the alleged victim ran naked to hide after somebody knocked on the door and disturbed them, she said.

Van Allen said Kelly carried a ‘duffel bag’ with his home-made porn it wherever he went. ‘He carried it everywhere,’ she said. ‘If we was at the studio, it was in the studio with him; if he was at Hoops (his gym) it would be at Hoops with him…the bag would follow him.’

She said she was not there when the tape at the center of this case was made, but identified the alleged victim and Kelly as being on that tape.”

“R. Kelly’s accountant paid Lisa Van Allen and a Kansas man $20,000 each to return a videotape of Kelly participating in a threesome with Van Allen and the alleged victim in this case.

Van Allen said the $40,000 pay-off, was made to her in March 2007. Kelly personally offered her $250,000, but only $40,000 was handed over, she said. Van Allen said she invested the pay-off in her business. Kelly’s business manager Derrel McDavid, handed over the cash, she said.”

The nonchalant, casual nature of sex in today’s society has become a concern to many due to the ugly truths about the spread of many STDs including HIV/AIDS.

With young African American women being the group infected at a higher rate than any other, new tactics are being formed to educate, and even scare them into being more aware of the dangers out there. Under the hood, the YouTube clip that's got everybody up in arms.

MTV uses their influence on the youth of this country with multiple commercials and programs that tell their audience to get tested and understand how easily the deadly disease spreads.

For those of us that can’t get on TV, the advent of YouTube, and many other websites like it, provide a forum for a show about anything. A Black man known as “The Trashman” is one with a series of videos that describe his sexual escapades with young women ranging from age 15 to the mid 20s. One video in particular has him speaking very disrespectfully about how he’s spread HIV to Black and Latino women through unprotected sex. Some of the language in the video is explicit:



There are many reasons to analyze the video and see it as fake. What man gets the full names, ages, and backgrounds of every woman he’s had sex with? What clubs does he go to where he can find some 15 and 16 year old girls hanging out? These places would have been shut down by now. This scheme sounds a lot like the book, ALZMEK: The Fictional Memoir of a Tainted Life, in which a man knowingly and brazenly spreads the AIDS virus to unsuspecting sexual partners.

Finally, many have asked, THIS guy had sex with 15,000 women because of a Jaguar? Some are calling for “The Trashman’s” arrest, hoping he’ll become someone’s “bitch” in prison.

Others are pointing out the likely possibility that this is all a hoax, a chance to get 1 million hits on YouTube. Whatever the reason or degree of truth involved in this video’s existance, Black Americans are being infected with the virus at an alarming rate through multiple irresponsible means. Before many young people pick up a book or read something to leisurely educate themselves, they head to the most popular videos on the internet.

Is “The Trashman” a fraud that is going to where the target audience flocks to tell the story that they would likely not hear? There are many out there that are unknowingly doing what he’s claiming to do. There may be others that are infected, like this dirty scheme, and have found something new to do with their lives and be a copycat.

Real or fake, the main concern is, does everyone know what’s happening and are we talking about it yet?

Sex And Black Men: Tackling The "Stud" Stereotype

Sex in this culture - especially among young people - has become so pornographic in concept. So many young men attempt to experience mere sensation without any thought toward humanistic concerns. Sadly, many of them mistakenly think a so-called "no-strings-attached, feel-good" sexual relationship is exactly what they want.

More to the point, I had to question why this society continues to be so fixated on making black men the sexual "animals" of this culture. This society has always conceptualized black males in demeaning physical terms - the stud with unlimited sexual prowess, for example - and so much so that many of these young men seem to have internalized a warped sense of their own humanity.

People are so wrapped up in their wants and desires, that, ironically, they don't understand the basic needs attached to those desires. The fact is, many people lack a sound analysis of sexuality and feelings, but black males are encouraged by the American culture to forgo such analysis, and, we must insist upon asking why this continues to be the case and what is the psychological and social cost to these young men?

As another one of my male psychology students put it during a classroom discussion on gender issues (after which several of my female students thoroughly castigated him), "It's just sex."

Black Memphis Principal Outs Gay African American Students: Was That A Bad Thing?

High School Principal Posts List Of Student Couples

Even though my high school girlfriend (now wife and mother of my two boys) use to get our smooch on back in the day on campus, I'm on the sistah's team as it relates to this!

Fed up with public displays of affection in the hallways, Memphis Principal Daphne Beasley is being accused of posting a list naming the school's teenage gay couples --without their O.K. -- violating their privacy, according to one of the students involved.

"I really feel that my personal privacy was invaded," Nicholas, one of the young men who claims his sexuality was exposed without his approval by his principal, told ABC News' Memphis affiliate Eyewitness News Everywhere. "I mean, Principal Beasley called my mother and outted me to my mother!"

"It was actually frightening," Nicholas said of the incident, which occurred in Fall 2007, "to see a list with my name on it where not just other teachers could see but students as well."

Nicholas, an 11th grader at Hollis F. Price Middle College High School in Memphis, was allegedly named, along with his suspected boyfriend, 10th grader Andrew, on a list of couples posted by their principal, Daphne Beasley.

"The principal did not list any information other than students' names on her personal call list, and she certainly did not specify the sexual orientation of any student," said Van D. Turner, Jr., associate general counsel of the Memphis City Schools Board of Education, in a statement provided to ABCNEWS.com. "Additionally, the list was never posted publicly anywhere at the school."

According to the statement, this "call list" was used by Beasley to "notify the parents of those children she knew to be involved romantically" after the school received "numerous complaints" of "explicit sexual behavior in public view."

The case has been taken up by the leading civil liberties group in the United States. "I really couldn't believe that a principal would have done something like this," said Christine Sun, the American Civil Liberties Union attorney handling the case after it was brought to her attention by Nicholas' mother.

As long as she didn't say who the partners were of these kids, I think the Principal Beasley was just trying to get the focus away from sex and back on the books. Given the horrible graduation rates we're seeing with our children, she's just doing what she's gotta do. Right? [ABC NEWS]

Looks Like Iconic Black Civil Rights Leader James Bevel Will Die In The Pokey For "Sexually Orientating" His Kids!

Reverend and one time vice presidential candidate James L. Bevel, arrested last year in Alabama after being indicted on one count of unlawfully committing fornication, has been found guilty of having sex with his daughter 15 years ago. Let The Church Say Amen!

The daughter is one of 16 children Bevel, 71, said he has had with several different women.

"The hardest part is I love my father, and I wish he loved me as much as I love him," The daughter told jurors during the sentencing phase.

According to the grand jury indictment, the crime occurred in northern Virginia between Oct. 14, 1992, and Oct. 14, 1994, when the accuser was 13 to 17 years old. Virginia has no statue of limitations on this type of criminal offense.

A top lieutenant to Martin Luther King Jr. who also helped organize the Million Man March, the brotha faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced. The jury recommended 15.

Bevel's daughter testified that she was repeatedly molested by Bevel beginning when she was just 6 years old, culminating in an act of sexual intercourse in 1993 or 1994 that formed the basis of the incest charge. Good Lord!!!!

Having worked with King and witnessed his assassination in Memphis, Tenn., in 1968, Bevel played a key role in some of the country's major civil rights protests.

At a time when African-Americans were suffering a battery of injustices, Bevel organized the 1963 Children's Crusade in Birmingham, Ala., and was a leader of the Freedom Rides to desegregate public accommodations throughout the South.

And he was an architect of the March on Washington in 1963 and the Selma-to-Montgomery march in Alabama in 1965. He also helped organize the Million Man March in Washington in 1995.

The trial divided members of Bevel's large family, with relatives testifying for both the prosecutor and defense. Even the daughter expressed mixed emotions. As she waited Thursday for a verdict, she was occasionally joined by her father as the two smiled and cooed over the daughter's new baby girl — Bevel's granddaughter.

It took the jury only three hours to convict.

A 17-year-old Norfolk girl said she and her friends were quick to tell one another when they lost their virginity. At 16, she was one of the last in her circle to have sex.

They've been slower to share stories about sexually transmitted diseases.She learned she had chlamydia - a pelvic infection that can cause infertility - after a test at Planned Parenthood of Southeastern Virginia last month.

The problem is worrisome in the eastern region of Virginia - which includes Hampton Roads - because STD rates tend to be higher than average here. In 2006, the eastern region had the highest rates in the state for chlamydia, gonorrhea and syphilis.

Gov. Eliot Spitzer has informed his most senior administration officials and now the rest of the world that he had been involved in a prostitution ring. Of course he apologized to his family and those whose trust he violated, but when it's all said and done, this man RIGHT HERE will be the new Governor of New York:

With David Paterson, the blind African American politician currently serving as Lieutenant Governor, maybe 2008 will see Black men running the show in DC with Barack, Deval Patrick in Massachusetts, and this brother in Hillary's state. To make things even more interesting, Governor Spitzer is a superdelegate... for Clinton!

David Paterson is a former State Senator who evokes mixed feelings in New York political circles and particularly in his native Harlem. Spitzer chose him based on his personal liking for, and confidence in, him.

Just last week, federal prosecutors arrested four people in connection with an expensive prostitution operation. Administration officials would not say that this was the ring with which the governor had become involved.

He had a difficult first year in office, rocked by a mix of scandal and legislative setbacks. In recent weeks, however, Mr. Spitzer seemed to have rebounded, with his Democratic party poised to perhaps gain control of the state Senate for the first time in four decades. Most people, however, never realized that he had a sex addiction that would finally cause him to hit rock bottom!

Mr. Spitzer gained national attention when he served as attorney general with his relentless pursuit of Wall Street wrongdoing. As attorney general, he also had prosecuted at least two prostitution rings as head of the state’s organized crime task force.

In one such case in 2004, Mr. Spitzer spoke with revulsion and anger after announcing the arrest of 16 people for operating a high-end prostitution ring out of Staten Island.

“”This was a sophisticated and lucrative operation with a multitiered management structure,” Mr. Spitzer said at the time. ”It was, however, nothing more than a prostitution ring.”

Albany for months has been roiled by bitter fighting and accusations of dirty tricks. The Albany County district attorney is set to issue in the coming days the results of his investigation into Mr. Spitzer’s first scandal, his aides’ involvement in an effort to tarnish Majority Leader Joseph L. "He's the one who makes breakfast and folds the laundry," said Melchoir, 47. "I'm the one who fixes things around the house."

White South Carolina Teacher Allenna Williams Ward Sentenced To 6 Years for Sex With Five Black Boys

Nearly 1 Year After Her Arrest, Ward Gets Her Comeuppance

Remember the White 23-year old (married) English Teacher from Bell Middle School in Clinton, SC who was arrested last year for having sex with five different black male teenagers.

Well all that youngin' lovin' is going to cost Allenna Williams Ward six years in the pokey!

Authorities said Ward met five different 14- and 15-year-old boys at the school where she taught as well as at a motel, a park and behind a restaurant. “I apologize from the depths of my heart,” Ward said in court.

Ward was fired from her teaching position last year but no information has been provided as to whether she will retain her teaching license. It’s also not known if Ward will be required to register as a sex offender.

It is known, however, that the mainstream media has completely ignored the fact that an adult white person was convicted of molesting black children. Wonder if a white male molesting black girls would have been newsworthy. What about a Black female sleeping with five White male teens. Hey, this one would certainly get attention: A Black man having sex with five White teenage girls or boys.

Yeah. that's the ticket!

At least Ms. Ward (I’m assuming her husband left her) will be doing some time, unlike Debra LaFave or Carrie McCandless, neither of whom served any jail time for raping their students. If only Allenna were prettier and blonder — perhaps she too could have escaped a jail sentence.

In a study of 361 men seen at their infertility clinic, researchers at the Cleveland Clinic found an association between the patients' cell phone use and their sperm quality.

On average, the more hours the men spent on their cell phones each day, the lower their sperm count and the greater their percentage of abnormal sperm. Dear Mayor Kilpatrick,

I would first like to thank you and the citizens of Detroit for the opportunity to have worked for the city that I love so much over the past six years.

Serving as Chief of Staff for the Kilpatrick administration since 2002 has been an honor and a privilege. I was born and raised in Detroit and my childhood goal was always to serve my city. I came back home after college to do just that. Serving our citizens and helping to transform Detroit into an even greater city is what I've been dedicated to everyday since January 2002.

As Chief of Staff, I managed key city departments in such areas as human services and labor relations as well as administering the day to day operation of the Mayor's office. I've served the administration and Detroit citizens with diligence, strength and perseverance and I hope that my efforts will one day show through above all else.

In spite of this, however, I believe that it is clear I can no longer effectively carry out the duties of Chief of Staff. Therefore, this letter serves as my resignation effective, February 8, 2008 to allow for an orderly transition of my duties with the new chief of staff. I painfully regret the devastation that the recent reports have caused to the citizens of Detroit, to my coworkers, to the Mayor's family and to my family and friends.

At a news conference Friday in Detroit, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy said articles about the Motor City's Kwame Kilpatrick (shown above with wife Carlita) and his chief of staff Christine Beatty that appeared in the Detroit Free Press on Thursday have raised questions that require an investigation.

As we first reported, this embarassing scandal resulted in Detroit doling out 9 million for a lawsuit that could have been settled for 100,000 after a security officer filed an unlawful termination lawsuit against the city and the mayor. "Yesterday there was an article that appeared in the Detroit Free Press about the mayor and his chief of staff," Worthy said at a news conference, where she refused to answer any questions. "I found out about this article when you did, in the morning newspaper. There are people who mistakenly believe that this office has been conducting an investigation. That could not be farther from the truth. And we have received no information whatsoever from any police agency."

Worthy said "news reports and newspaper articles are not investigations and they are not evidence. We cannot and will not at any time make any potential charging decision based on that."

In the spirit of the holiday season, a Chilean prostitute has auctioned off a set number of hours of sex to help raise money for a disabled childrens charity. "I've already auctioned off the 27 hours of love..."

Maria Carolina became an instant celebrity in the Roman Catholic country, making news headlines and giving interviews since she made her unusual donation to the televised charity event, which runs for 27 hours beginning from Nov 30 night.

Carolina, who decided to offer her services as part of the country's annual fund raising campaign, revealed that she has raised about 4,000 dollars. "One of my clients already paid. It seemed like a good deed to him," Carolina was quoted as saying.

The auction was part of a two day Telethon, which raises funds for the poor and disabled kids. Even though prostitution is legal in Chile, the campaign organizer Mario Kreutzberger has been dubious of her fundraising services, but accepted the money never the less.

"Everyone can do what they want, but if someone tells me that they'll do something immoral ... I'm not going to encourage it," Kreutzberger said. However, Carolina, who promotes her services on the Internet, defended her money-raising idea. "There are people who are going to be donating money that's a lot more questionable than mine. The only thing I did was publicise it," she said.

HOUSTON -- Moms and dads in Fort Bend County are outraged after their children said they witnessed a pair of eighth-graders engaged in a sex act, right in the middle of class.

The unsettling news about an incident at Crockett Middle School came to parents in a letter where the principal reported that the students, a boy and a girl, made inappropriate sexual contact with each other while other students watched. The letter does not say where the teacher was at the time.

However, some ticked-off parents have indicated that their children said the sex act happened once the teacher stepped out of the classroom. What also has some parents seeing red was the amount of time it took for the information to get to them. It's been more than a week since the incident happened. Now, Mother Theresa, uhh, sista Karrine wants to use her past as a tool for empowerment for women to remind them that despite how many times they'd been on their knees, they could find true love and still succeed in life as strong black female role models.

If she had really had a great change of heart and realized that her former whoring ways were wrong, wouldn't the noble thing be to write your book and disappear back into a life of obscurity?

Wouldn't she perhaps stop dating rappers and just go back to raising her kid(s), rather than continuing to pop up on this red carpet and that with every D-list rapper (Lil' Wayne), washed up Kang of R&B (yes, Bobby Brown got him some), and random white dude (Bill Maher too)?
