Wonder If Steve Harvey's Ex-Wife Mary Likes His New Bald, Sexy, Over 50 Look
Slimmer, Fly and Claiming Omega Psi Phi, Does This Black Man Have It Going On? So, Steve Harvey finally ditched that toupe and told the word it's okay to work the sexy... even when you're over 50.
In a Jet magazine article, the actor-comedian says he began his transformation after talking to a listener on his radio program, "The Steve Harvey Morning Show."
"The girl said to me, `Steve, you're 50 and you are over the hill,'" Harvey recalls. "I started thinking, `Wow, I am over the hill?' I said `OK, I got to do something to stop this line of thinking. Because at 50, I should not be thought of as over the hill. At 50, a man ought to feel that he is on top of the hill.'"
So Steve hired a personal trainer and now works out five days a week at his Atlanta home. "I had a potbelly and love handles," says Harvey, who's lost 13 pounds. "I've been telling people you can be 50 and fly, but when I took my clothes off, I wasn't looking fly."
Harvey, who celebrated his 51st birthday Thursday, defines "fly" as looking great, but also being healthy and spiritually strong. "Shaving my head was more of a spiritual thing for me. I wanted to be free," he says.
Harvey starred with Bernie Mac and Cedric the Entertainer in 2000's "The Original Kings of Comedy." His Jet reveal hits newsstands Monday. We can't wait to hear what Mary Harvey, who's been slamming the brotha from every direction, has to say about the new Steve.

Steve Harvey's "Packaged, Do-Good, Likeable, Christian-Type Image" Is About To Get Tested As Ex Mary Goes For The Jugular

Steve Harvey's Former Wife Claims She Was Bamboozled By Comedian and His Lawyer
Things are about to publicly get real ugly for Black entertainer Steve Harvey. Mary Harvey, ex-wife of the comedian and everybody's favorite morning radio personality is taking no prisoners, claiming she was conned into a quickie divorce. Unfortunately, it looks like attempts to keep private details about the star's adultery, poor and neglectful parenting, and "physical and mental abuse" are now officially out there for the world to see.
In a lawsuit filed Monday in Texas against her ex-lawyer, Mary Harvey claims that she was defrauded by the comedian (pictured above right with current wife Majorie) and the couple's longtime attorney, who represented them both in their November 2005 divorce. Harvey alleges that she was unaware of her right to independent counsel and, as a result, was severely shortchanged when it came to alimony, division of community property, and child support. Anderson and the 50-year-old comedian sought to "quickly and quietly dispose of the divorce" because there were "many things that Steve Harvey... did during the Harveys' marriage that he did not want the public to know about. I must say, it did seem rather sudden when Harvey remarried. Before his show went national and he was in Los Angeles, he would go on and on about his wife and how a man should treat a woman. In fact, does anyone remember when he and Mary had their foundation that was instrumental in getting more books into LA classrooms. Oh well, so much for nostalgia.Check out the court complaint Mary filed. Black love turned ugly people. Not cool!

BLACK RADIO FUNNYMAN STEVE HARVEY GETS MARRIED... AND DUMPED!
ON TO WIFEY NUMBER 3?
What has been confirmed, however, is that beginning Aug. 1, The Steve Harvey Morning Show will no longer air on its Chicago affiliate WSRB.
The adult urban station has decided to drop the nationally-syndicated program in exchange for a locally-originated show that can provide better local content, reports the Chicago Sun Times.
HARVEY JOINS FORCES (AND GETS PAID) WITH AMERICAN AIRLINES
Meanwhile, All Access is reporting that Clear Channel’s WGCI in Chicago is looking to replace veteran morning talent “Crazy” Howard McGee with Harvey’s program, sending McGee to a possible spot at Clear Channel’s WVAZ (V103) if and when its current contract with the nationally-syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show expires. It may even be interrupted.
