IMUS CALLS HIMSELF A 'CRACKER'

REV. SHARPTON ASKS IMUS TO REFRAIN FROM DISRESPECTING HIS OWN PEOPLE

If anyone needs rehab, it's Don Imus.

As he sat in the hot seat on the radio program of Rev. Al Sharpton Monday afternoon, Imus ran the gamut of emotions from being contrite, to being defensive, to being respectful to all Black callers by using the terms of "sir" and "ma'am."

However, Imus, despite his awkward situation, had the nerve to get confrontational with the president of the National Association of Black Journalist Association (NABJ) Byron Monroe by challenging him as to why he was on the phone and not there in studio in person and look him in the eye "like a man."

Later in the conversation, again in an effort to demonstrate his disgust with his own self, he referred to himself at one point as a "cracker." Rev. Sharpton quickly admonished him by telling him not to belittle his own race.

We're taking bets here at 3 Brothers and a Sister as to whether he'll be gone by the end of the week.
