Lenny Kravitz: "A-Rod's Wife Cynthia Is Just A Friend... Really!"

Lenny Kravitz speaks out and released a comment to squelch rumours of he being romantically linked with current house guest Cynthia Rodriguez, wife of NYC Yankee baseball superstar Alex (ARod) Rodriguez . "She arrived with the godfather of her child and the two are my guest. She came to Paris for a break, she and I are good friends, that's all."

Win it comes to celebrity romance I always need a score card to keep the players straight and this week has been no exception. In New York we have Madonna on leave from her London based husband to be linked/hooked-up with New York Yankee ARod. Not to be out done. ARod's wife, Cynthia, after seeing Madonna in Arod's private box, hops on a jet to be with sexy rocker Lenny Kravitz. Now the "wet nurse" is Guy Oseary who happens to manage, Madonna, ARod and Lenny.

I really tried to stay away from this story. New Yorkers of course are salivating at just the thought of their Yankee superstar Alex Rodriguez possibly having a romance with "material girl" Madonna. I don't care! Until today, when we find that it all may be true, as Mrs. Alex Rodriguez, Cynthia, has been spotted in Paris in the company of my favorite soul rocker Lenny Kravitz.


According to reports, Cynthia left her two children, the youngest just 3½ months old, back at their Miami home before flying to Paris.

The wild rumor, first reported by perezhilton.com Wednesday, is particularly odd because Madonna and Kravitz used to be an item. The two go back to 1990, the year they first became an item and wrote Madonna's hit "Justify My Love" together.

Perhaps a bit of foreshadowing is the song's first line: "I wanna kiss you in Paris."

Odder still, A-Rod, 32, Madonna, 49, and Kravitz, 44, all share the same manager, Guy Oseary of Untitled Entertainment.

Fab chick Madonna leads Forbes.com's list of the top 20 'Cash Queens of Music', earning $72 million between June 2006 and June 2007.

Barbra Streisand is No. 2 with $60 million, and Celine Dion ranks third with $45 million, largely from her five-year successful "A New Day" show in Las Vegas, Shakira is fourth with $38 million, followed by Beyonce ($27 million), Gwen Stefani ($26 million), Christina Aguilera ($20 million), Faith Hill ($19 million), the Dixie Chicks ($18 million) and Mariah "Touch My Body" Carey ($13 million).

Forbes.com said it compiled the list by examining concert grosses, merchandising revenue, album sales and other revenue from clothing lines, fragrance deals and endorsements.

Madonna's 'Confessions' world tour pulled in $260 million, Forbes said. The 49-year-old pop star also made money from album sales, her fashion line with H&M and a deal with NBC to broadcast her London concert performance.

Hilary Duff, Avril Lavigne and Martina McBride each banked $12 million. Crazy-loco Britney Spears (rushed to the hospital this morning) ranked 14th on the list, earning $8 million from music royalties and sales of her fragrances with Elizabeth Arden. Spears is followed by American Idol's Carrie Underwood and Nelly Furtado ($7 million each); Fergie, Jennifer "Max & Emme?" Lopez and Sheryl Crow ($6 million each); and Norah Jones ($5.5 million).
