FOLKS WHO GET IT: BLACK TRIPLET LAWYERS MADE HISTORY, NOW THEY WANT TO INSPIRE
YOU JUST SAW THEM ON OPRAH, RIGHT?
Well, here they are!
In 1978, Deshun Terrell, Kenya Reese, and Warren Louis Martin, Jr. were born as a set of triplets to the parents of Warren and Elinder Martin.
After their father unexpectedly died of a heart attack, the Edwards, Mississippi natives committed to staying together and holding each other up.
And with the help of God, the now widowed mother of five made sure that's exactly what they did.
Graduating high school, the Martin brothers each earned above 4.00 grade point averages. At Jackson State University, Warren and Kenya finished with perfect 4.00 grade point averages and Deshun completed his course work with a 3.95.
When the young black men's older brother, Precious Tyronne Martin, graduated from law school, the Martin triplets decided to follow in his footsteps.
In 2004, the Martins made history by becoming the first set of triplets to graduate from the University of Mississippi School of Law.
Later, they were sworn in as the first set of triplet attorneys in America.
Also featured on The Montel Williams Show, The Martins have traveled all over the country sharing their powerful story with others.
We're impress with these young, country yet polite, Black men. You should be too!
Check them out.
