Steve Stoute is Blowin' Up

Black Enterprise reports on rumors that Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc., (IPG) the $6.2 billion-a-year global advertising giant, is interested in purchasing a majority stake in Steve Stoute's Translation Consultation & Brand Imaging firm.

Stoute's the marketing guru who has demonstrated a keen awareness and capability in blending pop culture with advertising.

He's the brotha who matched up Jay-Z with Reebok and is the creator behind the popular "I'm Lovin' It" McDonald's campaign and others.

What this hopefully means on the larger scale is that in an era where media and advertising shape what the public sees, we'll now have a guy who can influence what's brought before the world's eyes and how it's brought. This is good news and we're lovin' it.
