Sidebar --
Snoop Dogg, aka Cordozar Calvin Broadus, is already facing weapon charges in The O.C.
Today, the 35-year-old was charged in L.A. with one felony count each of sale or transportation of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Arrested Oct. 26 at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank on suspicion of transporting marijuana, the firearm charge stems from the alleged discovery of a weapon by Burbank police during a search of his home.
The criminal complaint alleges that Broadus was convicted of felony drug possession and possession for sale in 1990.
Felon in possession of a firearm will not be difficult to prove. Upon showing a certified copy of his felony conviction, complete with a signed acknowledgement that he cannot possess a gun, and the dog won't just be barking in the pound. He'll be whimpering in prison!
