IS AL SHARPTON A MEDIA HO?
In the wake of the Don Imus debacle, there have been rumblings afoot in and out of the Black community concerning Al Sharpton.
Touting Imus' appearance on Sharpton's syndicated radio show along with his numerous appearances on "The Today Show," newspapers and other media outlets, Rev. Al has been the high stepping, highly visible drum major leading the parade to oust Imus.
But How And Why Is Al Sharpton The Spokesman For Black America?
Does he have our collective conscience mandate? Does he just love being in the spotlight? Or have we become so lackadaisical that just anybody with a bullhorn and big hair can speak for us?
