BLACK NASCAR RACE DRIVER - WHAT?!?!

Tim Woods Off And Racing Again

NASCAR driver Tim Woods III got off to a sound start with a seventh place finish at the 2007 Allstate Texas Thunder 150 recently held in Kyle, Texas.

Tim started his racing career at 8 years old on BMX tracks and is now racing NASCAR divisions. He's a third generation racer following in his father's and grandfather's footsteps.

Recognized as one of NASCAR's most talented and brightest up and comers, in 2005, Woods received the Most Improved Drive award. He finished his 12 starts of 2006 with three Top 5 and seven Top 10 finishes. He also added three new crew members that graduated from North Carolina A & T. Gotta love our Black colleges.

He will be at Phoenix International Raceway on April 19th.

Big props to Tim. Our young brothers need to know he's out there representing.
