Natalie Cole Comes Back Stronger, Better Than Ever!

This Is What Triumph Looks Like!

by Errol Briggs

Natalie gave more than what we could have ever imagined or prayed for last night at the beautiful Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Her comeback performance was out of this world. She commanded that stage like she had never been sick a day in her life.

When I tell you that I was "almost" in Heaven last night, then you can believe it.

On Wednesday September 10, 2009, the legendary singer and famous daughter of the incomparable Nat King Cole out performed Aretha, Patti, and Chaka. Natalie wore a deep purple gown for almost the entire show before changing into an equally beautiful turquoise mini gown. She brought out Kurt Carr and the Kurt Carr Singers, and she took us literally to church. She started to do the "Holy Dance" and shouted for about 5 minutes.

When you have been through what Natalie has been through, we know why Natalie danced and shouted all night. I think His name is JESUS. The man who saved her life; The man who gave her a new kidney; The man who delivered her from drug abuse; The man who is her all in all. Don't you know a little something about this man I am talking about?

I thank God for giving Natalie a new beginning, and I thank God for placing each one of you in my life. As Natalie said last night, "When you are going through something, you think you are the only one who is going through it. We all got problems in this world, so never give up and always know that if God did it for me, He will do it for you". Well spoken Natalie!

Natalie Cole Needing Our Prayers

Grammy Award-winning singer Natalie Cole has been hospitalized in New York after suffering a setback in her battle against Hepatitis C, her spokeswoman said on Friday. Cole, the 58-year-old daughter of legendary singer Nat King Cole, has canceled her tour dates for October but is expected to make a full recovery, the spokeswoman told Reuters. Natalie confessed earlier this month of an "unhealthy lifestyle"/drug abuse that led to her contracting the Hepatitis C.

I don't know about you, but I hate it when I read health comments from a "spokesperson" or "press person". It was the "spokesperson" who told us how "well" Bernie Mack was doing in the hospital, and you see how that turned out. Any of our readers out there who might know Natalie's family, please post a comment and give us the real truth, good or bad.

Natalie Cole Diagnosed with Hepatitus C

NEW YORK (AP) — Grammy-winning singer Natalie Cole has been diagnosed with hepatitis C, her publicist said in a statement Wednesday.

Hepatitis C is a liver disease spread through contact with infected blood. The statement said the disease was revealed during a routine examination and was likely caused by her drug use years ago.

"I've been so fortunate to have learned so much from my past experiences," said Cole. "I am embraced by the love and support of my family and friends; I am committed to my belief in myself and in my abiding faith to meet this challenge with a heartfelt optimism and determination. This is how I intend to deal with this current challenge in my life."

Dr. Graham Woolf, Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA/Cedars Sinai Medical Center, said that Cole has had a "terrific response to her medication and is now virus negative."

"This gives her an increased chance of cure," he said. "But, she has also suffered significant side effects from the anti-viral medicine, which is the only FDA authorized treatment for hepatitis C. Her side effects include fatigue, muscle aches and dehydration but she is recovering from these."

Cole, 58, the daughter of jazz legend Nat King Cole, has sold millions of records over her long career. She is due to release "Still Unforgettable," the follow-up to 1991's Grammy-winning, multiplatinum CD "Unforgettable ... With Love," on which she remade some of her father's classics, in September.

"Winehouse Grammys Honor Drug Addiction and Incarceration", Natalie Cole Speaks Out

Sunday Amy Winehouse nearly "ran the table" with her 5 Grammy wins. Herbie Hancock surprise win of best album of the year stopped Amy one short taking all six of the major awards. But now singing legend Natalie Cole wants to stop the Winehouse party all together. Ms. Cole wants to focus on Amy "the convicted felon" and Amy "the known drug addict" and have her give the damn Grammys back. It seems sex, drugs and jail are not to be celebrated. Natalie a former addict herself may have been a little hypocritical when she said...

"I don't think she (Winehouse) should have won. I think it sends a bad message to our young people who are trying to get into this business, the ones who are trying to do it right and really trying to keep themselves together," said Cole, 58. "We have to stop rewarding bad behavior."

Of Winehouse, 24, who is currently in rehab in England, Cole says: "I'm sorry. I think the girl is talented, gifted, but it's not right for her to be able to have her cake and eat it too. She needs to get herself together."

In the shadows of the recent overdose death of actor Heath Ledger, Natalie went on to say, "I mean, she could die. This isn't something that's cute and fun just to throw around in the press. The girl really has a problem, and I think for those of us who have been in the business long enough, we know the sacrifice it takes. This is about discipline and hard work, and you don't get to just do your drugs and go onstage and get rewarded."

OK, Natalie you are now age 58 and it is showing. We know you were able to turn your life around, but we're not too sure you weren't in the middle of your own addictions when you won some of your awards. I for one know you were still "in the life" when I plunked ddown serious cash to see you in concert with Lou Rawls, back in the day. But considering the recent crack/heroin induced pictures we have seen of Amy lately... you might have a point.

NATATLIE COLE'S SHOCKING WEIGHT LOSS

Diva, singing legend and "over comer" Natalie Cole is shocking the fat off with a new weight loss system. It is good to give this good news report in the midst of so much tragedy and sad drama in the celebrity world.

Here is the scoop. Natalie Cole like most of us has tried many many ways to loose weight. Her new thing is sending volts of electricity through her body ... and it is working .

She is showing off her new shape and an even more positive attitude, as she sings the praise of RITA CZECH of Cellulite Solutions and her "endermologie". This new technology uses mild electrical currents to melt fat, stimulate nerves and drain lymphatic fluids. Now of of course Natalie is not telling you to stop that exercise routine. On the contrary, she is saying the combination of the two is giving her "fantastic" results as she has gone from a size 12 to a size six.

I would have to agree that too many times we use fad diets and liquid extremes to be our complete weight loss system, when in fact we need to use these things as an initial "jump start" to good exercise and good eating. These programs can get us going but they can't maintain our healthy life styles. Want more info on shocking that fat click Cellulite Solutions . I personally can't wait to see the new curvaceous Natalie this new year!
